CHRISTMAS PARTY FOR THE ELDERLY 2008
40 elderly and housebound parishioners enjoyed the Christmas Party run by the SVP in St Teresa's Parish Centre.
Thanks are due to the drivers;
to the group from the Holy Family Ingol, who provided the entertainment;
to the Ladies League, who set out the Hall and provided tea and coffee;
to the youngsters from All Hallows and Newman College Youth SVP groups, who helped in bringing people to the
venue and also served the food;
to Christine from A&S Cakes in Leyland, who provided the delicious cottage pie and danish pastries;
to Fr Austin for his support;
and, finally, to all the members of the SVP who helped in any way.
