8th PENWORTHAM ST TERESA'S
SCOUT GROUP
Our group is based in its own scout hut which is located behind the tennis courts at St Teresa's church grounds, Queensway Penwortham.
We have close links with our church, schools and the local neighbourhood.
We welcome boys and girls into our Beaver Colony, Cub Pack or Scout Troop.
The aim of scouting is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.
The method of achieving the aim is through the provision of exciting and adventurous activities.
... Beavers from the age of 6 to 8 years old.

.... Cubs from the age of 8 to 101/2 years old.

.... Scouts from the age of 101/2 to 14 years old.

We are also always looking out for parental help on meeting nights or new leaders to help and enrich our current team of leaders.
